With roles such as "Fiordiligi", "Konstanze", "Donna Anna" in "Don Giovanni" or as "Gilda" in "Rigoletto" Young Soprano Eleonore Marguerre is already an asked-for specialist in the lyric repertoire.

 

She has made her debut in theatres such as Vienna State Opera, Milanos Teatro alla Scala (Venus / Ascanio in Alba), the Semperoper Dresden or the Festival of Bregenz and she worked already repeatedly with conductors such as Adam Fischer, Jac van Steen, Julia Jones, Bruno Weil or Giovanni Antonini and Massimo Zanetti.

2011 / 2012 brings her to Theatre Dortmund to sing "Fiordiligi" and "Eliogaballo" by Cavalli. In 2009/2010 she sang first time "Donna Anna" in Mannheim and Oldenburg, after having sung "Gilda" at the State Theatre of Darmstadt, State Theatre Nuremberg or State Opera Sofia. Other productions were an "Abduction from the Serail" at Staatstheater Braunschweig and at Teatro La Fenice in Venice Korngold's "Die Tote Stadt". In 2010 followed a production of "Lucio Silla" at the Opera de Nice and her appearance as "Cleofide" in "Alessandro nell' India" at Nationaltheater Mannheim. 2011 brought another role debut as "Armida" in "Rinaldo" at Antwerp.

Further projects include "L'incoronazione di Poppea", "Lucia Silla" at Bordeaux in 2013 , "Zauberflöte" at Opéra de la Bastille Paris in 2014 with Philippe Jordan and "Der Zwerg" at Opéra de Nancy 2013.

 

Recitals, i.e. with young conductor Cornelius Meister a the piano, led her to Japan, France, Norway, Austria and Switzerland.

 

Grown up in Heidelberg, Eleonore Marguerre completed her academic education with Margarita Lilova at the University of Vienna in 2001. The biggest influence on her singing always had her first - and present - voice teacher Gisela Rohmert at the Lichtenberger Institute of Functional Singing.

 

Mrs Marguerre was awarded several prices international competitions, such as the "Boris Christoff Competiton" (2009, 1rst Prize), "Marcello Viotti Competition" (2008), the "Leyla Gencer Voice Competition (2006 2nd Prize)" or the "Competizione dell' Opera" at the Semperoper Dresden (2004 3rd Prize) .

 

Her latest recordings include Mendelssohn "Lobgesang" (hänssler, 2009), Mozarts Fragment "Demofoonte" as "Timante" (arts music, 2008), Suppe's "Schoene Galathee" with Eleonore Marguerre singing the title role with the WDR orchestra and Bruno Weil conducting (Capriccio, 2007). More recordings are "Erwin and Elmire" by Countess Anna-Amalia of Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach (DS, 2007) as well as Max Bruch's "Lay of the Bell" (CPO, 2005). (January 2012)
